Outreach Grants to be determined soon - We would like to hear from people about their fa-vorite local agencies and why they are important to them and the community. We will be making our deci-sions soon on which agencies will be receiving Outreach funds in august. People may write their thoughts in a note and place in the envelope posted downstairs, or in the outreach box outside the office, or they may email me. Thank you and peace. September 15th—“connecting with our world”— On Thursday, Sept. 15th we will have a service of Evening Prayer at 5:30 p.m. and then at 6 p.m. a covered dish supper with a program by Emily Bragg who recently returned from studying abroad in Belgium. All are welcome.

September 29th—”connecting with our community” - On Thursday, Sept. 29th we will have a service of Holy Communion to celebrate St. Michael and All Angels at 5:30 p.m., and then a covered dish supper at 6 p.m. with a presentation from the Trekkers Program. Trekkers is a mentoring youth program which we helped to start in our community and which is changing with the uniting of the school districts. We will hear from some of our young people and the leadership about what is going on with their ministry.

Pennies for Outreach – There are jars around the church to collect pennies or other coins to be added in for our outreach programs. Instead of letting them pile up at home, let us put them to good use. Thanks!
